Officers introduced: President – Lauren Franscoviak; Vice President – Katie Buckles; Secretary – Carly Konopa; Treasurer – Andrew Hunt
We are working on a 1st year members meeting to help answer questions you may have, along with distributing a 1st year member packet with helpful information. Be on the lookout for that if you are a 1st year member.
We are finalizing a Club Fundraiser for "spirit wear". More information to come on ordering.
We are looking for volunteers to help with the Chuckwagon (concession stand) for our open shows and also a committee to help put together our Awards for the county fair and the End of the year Banquet. Below are the contacts in charge of those committees:

Some important things that were discussed:
We met with 1st year members to answer any questions they may have. Please if you are a first year member and need help or have any questions, reach out to Jordin, Morgan, or Amanda.

Spring time is around the corner and time to vaccinate your horses. Dr. Farr with Purdue Equine Community Practice has received 80 doses of vaccines donated for our 4-H members. 1 horse per 4H member is eligible for the free vaccine. If you have an appointment scheduled with Purdue to come to your farm, you can take advantage of this. We are also working on a vaccine clinic, information including the date will be coming out soon. Please watch for this in your email. Please remember – vaccination paperwork is required to be signed by a vet.
Our club officers presented an educational slideshow on Western Discipline. THANK YOU Lauren, Katie, Andrew, and Carly. You all did an awesome job putting this together.
Dr. Farr provided everyone with information on Barn First Aid and how to build your first aid kit.

Spring time is around the corner and time to vaccinate your horses. Please remember – vaccination paperwork is required to be signed by a vet.
First Open Show is May 8th – please watch Facebook and your email for instructions on entering fairgrounds, parking, and new arena entry. Sign-up sheets for working this show will be coming out soon. Please help our club have a successful show by signing up to help work. Our club is run by volunteers and needs as much help as possible during the show to make this run smooth and successful. Please be sure to add our ‘Tippecanoe County Open Show’ Facebook page to receive all of the updates on our open show. Our open shows will meet county health regulations, which will require a limited food menu.
Chain link fence in the makeup arena has been replaced to match the main arena. Please watch for communication on entry/exit procedures for shows.
At this time we are planning for a normal fair this year. As we have more information regarding fair, we will continue to communicate to you.
We will be communicating an “Adopt a fence post” to help with costs incurred by replacing the fence. Amounts are still to be determined. This will include a plate with your donated name engraved on it. i.e. family name, child/4Her name/in memory of, etc.
We are still working on getting approval for practice nights. We will communicate with you as soon as we know more regarding this.
